Small groups take many different forms. Some have different emphases. The one characteristic they all share is fellow believers living life together and encouraging each other be the best Christian possible. You’re invited to join any of the following small groups.
SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES (emphasize study)
- SUNSHINE CLASS: This class has no age guidelines. Sunshine uses the Cokesbury Adult Bible Studies series. We actively support many missions efforts and share in a variety of service and fellowship activities outside the classroom. Come join us as we learn how to become better Christians. - TGIF (Together Growing in Friendship): TGIF consists of men and women of all ages who study and share mutual concerns. Our studies vary, but all center around how our faith helps us to deal with life concerns. New members and guests are always welcome. Contact persons: Randy & Theresa Camp or Jean Cantrell.
SENIOR CONNECTION (emphasizes fellowship): Senior Connection has stopped meeting since COVID. We do not yet have a timeline for restarting. Senior Connection exists to bring people together. We usually meet the first Friday of each month. All are welcome. We meet in the Fellowship Hall at 12:30 p.m. for a carry-in luncheon. Coffee and drinks are ready at noon. PIECEMAKERS (emphasizes service & fellowship): Our group meets every Thursday at 1:00 pm for laughter and sewing. We make prayer quilts that are given to Temple members. Recipients have traditionally been those walking a difficult path in life. Our newest ministry is Baptism quilts. Anyone is welcome to come and create with us on Thursday afternoons. EMMAUS REUNION (emphasizes accountability): Emmaus Reunion has stopped meeting since COVID. We do not yet have a timeline for restarting. This group of people who have completed a Walk to Emmaus gathers every other Sunday afternoon at 4:00 pm to support and challenge each other in the faith journey.
