Sharing Hope

METHODIST TEMPLE Sharing Hope

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him…”

— Romans 15:13

It has been said (sung): “What the world needs now is love, sweet love.”
With all due respect to Dionne Warwick, what the world really needs now is hope. The hope that Jesus offers comes partnered with his love and mercy.

Lots of organizations do good deeds. Temple is not just another non-profit organization. We are a Church. And as the Church, we serve God’s people to relieve suffering, but we do so in order to develop relationships that foster an opportunity to share the hope that God offers through a loving relationship with his son, Jesus.

Temple has served in many different ways in order to develop those relationships:

  • served meals at Lighthouse Mission & Connor’s House
  • worked with kids and families at Farrington Grove Elementary School
  • Operating a “Blessing Box” on our property where people can give/take essential items

We have also supported a variety of overseas missionaries who share God’s hope in areas we may never see personally.

As a Church, our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ, so we hope everything we do has an element of spreading the love and hope of God to our community and the world.
